I am yet to experience this. The ship is likely to move to another location tomorrow cutting through ice and also moving into open sea. Every day scientists meet and decide on the next course of action, based on several factors. There is a lot of activity which is not preplanned and is decided on a day to day basis. It is like a full floating lab.

How does it feel like being on a ship with ice all around? As the ice breaker cracks the ice as it moves forward does it make a lot of noise?
